This college is affiliated to Rajasthan university and is registered by the state government which is running by education committee “Shri Krishan Education and research institute, Govindgarh has been done with the aim of spreading the ganga of knowledge in the rural area so that the students can get better and qualitative education in comparison with other colleges of cities.
The college (co-education) has been started at the graduation level in the session of 2011-12, is affiliated to Rajasthan University and is registered with state government. At current session, the college is running in arts faculty at graduation and post graduation level with geography, History, Political Science, Hindi Literature and is running in science faculty at post-graduation level with zoology, chemistry, botany Physics , and Mathematics. About 1000 Students are enrolled with all subjects in all facilities of teaching and studying at highest quality of present time in the college.
The college is situated at the distance of 200 meters from N.H. 52 at sub-tehsil Govindgarh of Chomu so that there will be no disruption in transportation to students from all government and private vehicles so the college is situated at suitable place in the sight of teaching and studying.
The main aim of college is setting higher standards for students to provide all useful facilities as education at one place from which the students can be capable for the service of country and state, social service and self getting education from the college. The college has been formed from the view point of this pious aim.
To form the college according to the current relevance of present time, all laboratories are available of all faculties such as geography, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Physics. Using these laboratories, the students can get cognitive curiosity of himself and his high education can make more high.
The games are organized timely at college to develop the physical development of the students with mental development. Many games are organized such as: Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho, Racing basketball, volleyball, and handball so that the students can get the chance of playing at national and state level. The college has received the gold medals at competition in many games such: Boxing, Chess, Walking race and tug of war etc. at university and inter-university level.
The branches of red ribbon club are conducting in the college by the society of Rajasthan state, AIDS control and national service scheme (NSS) that are attempting to organize many seminars and different campaigns such: Street shows, social cooperation, Blood donation cooperation, essay competition, games competition etc. The Students of college are attempting to get their aim from these activities from which maintaining a sense of service to the state at them. The college is organized cognitive lectures by the lecturers of many subjects on several topics at time to time from which the students can increase their knowledge. Along with this national and international seminars are organized of many subjects. 
The provision of free education for some poor and helpless students of this area has been made by the college every year. From that the helpless and poor students of this area can get equal chance of progress. In the time of competition different subjects specialists are invited for the guidance of competition exams of well planned lectures.
The college administration has been strived to provide the advanced future and higher practical knowledge to all students. This college has been strived to make the students employment oriented connecting with modern time and has been provided all modern facilities mid view continuing the steps of science and technology. All lecturers are qualified from UGC of all subjects. They are resolved to make the students. They are resolved to make the students the best in the race of competition of modern time.
The library of college is grandiose and equipped with modern features. In which the books of related all authors of many syllabi reference books, magazines, monthly magazines, article, research articles, research magazines and all types of cognitive books has been collected. That has the capacity to satisfy the thirst for knowledge. 
In college, all kinds of playgrounds for all games are available that the students can make the best performance in the field of games and can get the intellectual development along with physical development and can make the contribution of college in the field of games. 
The students are getting the scholarship in the college without any obstacles which is provided by state and central government. 
The college is registered for the inspire award which is provided by the department of science and technology, India government, New Delhi in science faculty. 
The college has been received the appreciation letter for excellent work in the college because of running activities in Red Ribbon club is conducted by state government in the session of 2021-22 and many more excellent work are continued and will be continued. This is the attempt of college administration.
The girl students are getting the profit of the Kalibai Bheel Scooty scheme which is conducting by state government continually in the session of 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.
